1. How many years has It's MY Maid Services been in business? We have over 25 years of experience in cleaning. The company began its journey 5 years ago! I started getting so many referrals that I couldn't possible clean all of them by myself so I started growing the company. Today we strive to keep the same standard of detail and attention to all the cleans as I did back when it was just me cleaning.
2. How do you select and screen your staff? Our staff goes through several screening processes to make sure they are detailed oriented and trustworthy. We are a family business, so if you don't have that type of personality that we can trust or want to be a part of something bigger than a job, you’re not the right maid for us!
3. How do you train and manage your employees? We train our employees through videos, on-site training and audits. Our maids usually train for two weeks prior to be on the schedule with their own home. We treat our maids with respect and value them, so we don't have as much turn over as other companies. When you join our team, you are family!
4. What type of clients are we working with or have in the past? We have cleaned small homes, big homes, offices, doctor offices, businesses, daycares to name a few. Will be happy to provide references upon request.
5. What all is included in your cleanings? Typically, a general clean consist of everything from dusting the ceiling fans to window seals, to the floor and everything in between. In the kitchen we clean everything on a horizontal surface and inside the microwave and wipe down the outside of the fridge and dishwasher. We make sure we move everything on the counters and even polish or wipe down the decor. In the bedroom if you want the sheets changed, we ask you put an extra set on the bed and the maid will change the sheets, otherwise she will just fluff up the bedding and make your bed. All faucets and sinks polished and bathrooms sanitized.
In a detail clean we do everything in the general and add the based boards, doors, and all fronts of every cabinet. As well as, we clean the inside of the oven We will be happy to email you or you can download our cleaning checklist from the website.
6. Schedule and timing? We start our cleans normally at 9:00A.M. and end at 6:00 P.M. If you need another time then we will be happy to accommodate. During our initial visit we will cover what day and time works best for you! As well as, do you want a One-time clean, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly clean? We have also invested in reminding our customers of their appointments. Our customers get a text an hour before the maid arrives to let them know she will be arriving soon!
7. Cleaning supplies and equipment? Our maids have cleaning supplies, but we use the clients vacuum and mop due to contamination from one house to the next. . Some house has pets and others don't. Some of our clients are allergic to certain things so we always come with fresh towels that have not been brought into another client’s home. The maids do have a vacuum and mop if needed, but it is not our normal process to take them into a client home unless request by the client.
8. How do we collect for payment? Most of our clients like to have a credit card on file, but we do offer Venmo and cash and checks.
9. What if I don't like my cleaning? We 100% guarantee our work and our maids take pride in a job well done! If for some reason you are unhappy with our services, then please call the office and we will do whatever it takes to make you happy. Our clients are our family and we never want to disappoint.
10. How often do I need my house cleaned? We suggest a maintenance routine of cleaning every two weeks. Especially if you work full-time and have children.
11. How long do you think it will take to clean my house? A typical house takes anywhere from 3-5 hour to clean. When we walk the property with you, we should be able to give you an estimated time it will take to make your house sparkle.
12. Are there an additional cleaning charges or extra fees? Some houses will need a more than a typical clean and will require more time and supplies to get the job done properly. Example, on a move out clean the client might need help cleaning out a house that was near a hoarding status.
13. What type of cleaning services do we offer? We offer General cleans, detail cleans, move in/or out cleans, janitorial cleans and construction as well as vacation rental cleans.
14. What are our fees and rates for a normal size house cleaning? We typically charge .10 cents for for a general clean and .15 cents for a detail clean. Our cheapest clean is $100.00 and most houses fall into the $150 range. Our normal process is to do a walk through with the client and we can adjust the cost depending on the condition of the house that needs to be cleaned.
15. Do we provide evening and weekend cleaning schedules? Yes! We can accommodate evening cleans and we have dedicated weekend staff.
16. Why do you need a professional cleaning service? Your time is important! You can sit back and relax and let us do the work for you so you have time for yourself and family. The biggest benefit to hiring us is that you get to devote your time to what makes you happy and you have a clean house!
